Itching to get back to competing

Hi, everyone!

On Monday I went for my check-up, and it seems like my physical therapy is going well.

The fracture on my collarbone is healing properly, and all the bone fragments are where they’re supposed to be! Given some of my past surgeries, the skin around it has deteriorated somewhat, so they had to reconstruct the scar. This is better for me though since you can easily run into complications with things like this.

The fracture on my right fibula is stable and on its way to recovery, and the same goes for the fourth metatarsal on my left foot. Unfortunately, these three injuries mean that I won’t be making my way to Malaysia, so my goal now is to recover as much as possible in time to make it to Valencia in less than three weeks. I’m really looking forward to being back with my team and with all the fans in Cheste, too.

It was strange watching the race from home this weekend. It’s not what I would rather be doing, but all I can do for now is to focus my time on working on each physical therapy technique in order to recover quickly.
Thanks again for all your support.

Dani Pedrosa.
