Ready to fight in 2017

Hi everyone!

I was finally able to get back to where I’m happiest—the track. It wasn’t easy after almost a month of rest following my injury, but I’m happy to see my team and the fanbase again on the circuit.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get to finish the race, since it was one of the goals we’d set ourselves before the start. At least I got back into the pace of competition, something I really needed.

It’s time to make up for lost time and focus on the next season. We’re in Valencia where we’ve been testing the development of the engine we tried out in Misano and Aragón. The idea is to overcome any difficulties that may arise during the pre-season so we can be much more competitive right from the start in Qatar.

Today is the last test day, tomorrow we’re off to Barcelona. There, I’ll be joining the entire Repsol Honda Team—Toni, Jaime, Fuji, and Marc—and we’ll visit a school in Sant Andreu de la Barca that won the “Repsol Team goes back to school” competition. In previous years, we’ve really enjoyed this day and I’m sure this year will be no different.

All the best, Dani Pedrosa.
