A great day in Tarragona

Hi everybody!

Our trip to Tarragona with the Repsol Honda Team was jam-packed with excitement. Even though we hardly had time to catch our breath we had a really fun and busy day. We also got to support the 2017 Mediterranean Games.

Ending the day with an amazing trial performance was really something else! It’s not every day that you get to see a 20-time world champion like Toni Bou alongside Fuji and Busto showing off their skills. I bet everybody there enjoyed it just as much as I did. The arena was full and the money raised went to a good cause—Solc special education school. We went there in the morning and they gave us a fantastic welcome. Thanks to everyone who was there!

Now it’s time to get ready for the Asia and Oceania tour. I’m training hard with Álex because there won’t be much time once we start travelling. The jet lag always gets to me a bit, but after so many years you get used to it. Anyway, we’ll be travelling there a few days beforehand because it’s harder to sleep the first three nights and you end up waking up too early.

But before then the plan is to not lose a second and train extra hard!

QUESTION OF THE WEEK from Natalia
My question is: How did you feel when Álex got his first podium finish in Moto2? You looked really thrilled.

Hi Natalia.
It was one of the best moments of the season because I know how hard he’s worked and how much he deserves it. Winning a race on the same day that your brother gets on the podium makes the day even more special, and the fact that it was in Aragon made it the best Sunday of the season.

Talk to you soon!
