A preseason full of emotion

Hi everyone,

The tests in Cheste were almost a week ago and I can tell you that the global results were positive. Once we finished, things calmed down a little compared to when we have races. But don’t expect me to get much rest as I’m travelling all over, going to events to round off the year. These trips are good news because they mean we achieved our objective: winning the World Championship.

I’m writing to you after spending an unforgettable weekend in Cervera. I want to thank the Fan Club for the incredible organisation of the event, which was spectacular from beginning to end. You know me, so you know I enjoy celebrations. Seeing everyone together: the fans, the family, the team… it was so exciting I can’t describe it with words. Thanks to everyone who took part!

Last week I spent some time with my colleagues of the Repsol Honda Team at the Josep Pla school, in Sant Andreu de la Barca (Barcelona). It was very special to be there and we had a great time with all the children. I love spending time with them because they’re direct and honest and I really like that.

The Junior Motor Camp also starts next week and I’ll be there giving out tips about off-road riding to boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 13. We’re repeating this experience after doing it last year and it’s going to be a great opportunity to spend time close to future promises in motorcycling.

Other than this, as I’ve told you I have quite a few events coming up. I’ll be in Berlin this weekend, attending the FIM awards. In early December, we’ll be travelling to the Motegi circuit in Japan, where we’ll spend time with all Honda riders to celebrate the end of the season.

The last post of the year will come next week, but I can’t tell you anything else because there’s a surprise. Stay tuned!

Best wishes too all,
Marc Márquez.
