Good Points

Hi everyone!
To be honest, it wasn’t one of my best GPs because I didn’t get in front like I was hoping. On the bright side, at least we got 13 important points which will keep us at the top of the standings.

I’d like to congratulate Dani on a great race, after he started in the back and then overtook everyone, showing a great pace. It’s been a very well deserved victory for him and the team.

Now we have to think about Aragón, close to home, with all of you supporting us. That’s one of my favourite circuits and I believe we’ll be much more competitive there than in the last few races.

After the GP we stayed in Misano for a test session. On Monday morning it rained a bit so it got moved to Tuesday. The test went well and will help us improve.

This coming week, I’ll continue to train in Cervera, but I’m not the only one going back to my hometown: I’ll be getting a visit from one of my most beloved colleagues.

Can you guess who it is? None other than the RC213V I used to win my first MotoGP world championship! It’ll be in the Repsol Racing Tour exhibition, which will visit Cervera on 14 and 15 September. Don’t miss it! Here’s a link if you want to get more information.

THE QUESTION OF THE WEEK, from Ángela Zaragoza
Hi Marc! Why do you use a different helmet on Fridays? Is it superstition or do you just like it?

Hi Ángela.
I got the idea from Shoei, my helmet supplier. I really liked it and I love the design! So, from now on, I’ll use the helmet with the new design on Fridays and this season’s regular helmet on Saturdays and Sundays.

Best wishes,
Marc Márquez.
